Town of Bennington Bennington, VT Morgan Springs Bulk Water Fill Station ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the Town of Bennington Morgan Springs Bulk Water Fill Station will be received by The Town of Bennington Department of Public Works, at the office of 78 Bowen Road, Bennington, VT 05201 until 2:00 pm local time on Thursday May 6th, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read via an online, virtual meeting. This project consists of the construction of a 270 square foot bulk water fill station and approximately 885 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE water line along Bradford Street and Main Street in the Town of Bennington, Vermont. Specifically, the work will include the construction of a new building, interior plumbing and electrical components, building site work, trenching, removal of the existing asphalt and subbase, removal of existing concrete sidewalks, installation of water line, installation of sewer line, gravel base for sidewalks and drives, full pavement depth replacement, and associated site work in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Cost of Bidding Documents and shipping is non-refundable. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.
