NOTICE OF CONVEYANCE OF INTEREST IN REAL ESTATE PURSUANT TO 24 V.S.A. 1061 The Town of Bennington intends to convey its interest approximately 5.75 acres located on the campus of the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center located at 160 Hospital Drive (a portion of Parcel No. 55500104 in the Bennington Lister's Records), Bennington, Vermont, and a non-exclusive easement over roadways and parking lots on the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center Campus to CLR Propco, LLC. The conveyance is contemplated to take place approximately 30 days from the date of this Notice. The real estate is located at 160 Hospital Drive in Bennington, Vermont. The parcel shall be conveyed subject to the Judgment Order of the Superior Court Bennington Unit Probate Division Docket No. P-68-3-12 Bnrt ("Judgment"), requiring that the property be used exclusively for the delivery of health care services for the benefit of the community in perpetuity. As directed by Vermont law, this notice will be posted in three public places within the Town of Bennington, including at the Bennington Town Office, and will be published in one newspaper of general circulation, at least thirty days prior to the date of conveyance. If a petition signed by five percent of the legal voters of the Town objecting to the conveyance of the property is presented to the Town Clerk within thirty days of the date of the posting or the date of the publication, whichever is later, the Select Board will present the question of whether the Town shall convey the property as proposed to a special or annual Town meeting.
